Mumbai, In a bold move set to redefine the future of filmmaking in India, MH Studio has officially announced the launch of MHxR, a next-generation Virtual Shooting Studio, designed to merge the power of virtual reality with real-world cinematic production. The state-of-the-art facility will serve as the primary shooting ground for a newly announced trilogy of films under the banner of its sister company, MH Films.
The trilogy comprises three ambitious titles: “Around the World,” “Mayanagari,” and “Utopistan”—each conceived as immersive virtual reality (VR) films that will be shot within very real, tangible environments, thanks to the hyper-realistic capabilities of the MHxR studio.
The first in the Trilogy, “Around the World,” has already locked in a leading actor who is among the most celebrated stars in the country today. While the name remains under wraps, an official announcement is expected shortly, sending waves of excitement through the industry and fans alike.
Meanwhile, pre-production is in full swing for all three films. “Mayanagari” and “Utopistan” promise to be equally visionary, diving into alternate realities and speculative worlds that blend fiction with social commentary, all while being crafted in photorealistic virtual sets designed to push the boundaries of audience immersion.
